According to the ABI, Insurers are detecting record levels of fraudulent insurance claims - 2,000 every week, worth £14 million. Hawkins continues to record successes in helping insurers detect fraud. We have a specialist, mainly desktop, service aimed at losses of up to £15,000, but also continue to detect fraud in our more traditional investigations.

Our investigator's appearance on "Cheats, Frauds and Scams" on Channel 4 was alluded to in a BBC radio broadcast that was based around the latest ABI press release on fraud. In the Channel 4 programme we were able to demonstrate on camera, by means of a reconstruction, that an allegedly accidental paint spill could not possibly have occurred in the manner described by the policyholder.
