Birmingham Forensic Fun Day

Our team in Birmingham recently organised the first Forensic Fun Day we’ve held in the region. We entertained 10 clients from NFU who usually handle property and casualty claims. Our experts ran a number of interesting, practical workshops; teaching plumbing skills and pressure testing pipe joints, demonstrating the investigation of electrical fires and a fire investigation role play workshop. We also delivered talks on self-heating, investigation of pedestrian Slips & Falls and the use of the Pendulum Skid Tester, which is used to test the skid and slip resistance of surfaces in wet and dry conditions.

We were able to showcase a wide range of skills within Hawkins and our clients were interested to learn about the full range of services we can offer. We are hoping to run similar events in our other offices in the future. Please contact our Business Development Manager, Graeme Drysdale for more information.
