26th October 2017
Our team in Birmingham recently hosted a go-karting and networking event for clients to meet our experts.
A “Le Mans” style endurance race began with four teams taking part over 90 minutes. The electric go-karts last around 7 minutes before the need to be recharged, so the trick was managing the change overs before the karts ran out of power. The red mist of competition descended!
While cheering their team member on everyone had chance to share stories and chat.
The winning team completing 183 laps was Team 1, comprising David Coates from Charles Taylor Adjusting, Richard Craddock and Ian Stevens from Woodgate & Clark, with Hawkins’ Neville Tranter and Richard J Fletcher who was team leader. The fastest lap of 26.305 seconds went to Hawkins’ expert, James Kingham.
Members of the winning team were presented with the Teamworks Karting glass trophy and Hawkins umbrellas.
