Hawkins continues to support 3-time British Water Polo League winners

The Liverpool Lizards won the British Water Polo League for the third year in a row after beating rivals City of Manchester 5-3 in the final held at Gloucester on 19th March.

To celebrate the win, the Hawkins sponsored team delivered a tongue-in-cheek gift to both thank parents for their support, and apologise for missing out on Mothering Sunday celebrations in order to attend practice. Boxes of chocolates were given to the players’ mothers, along with a note which read: “Mums, Thank you for giving up your Mother’s Day or going without your daughter so that she could play today for our 99s NAGS Team. By way of some form of compensation and a big thank you, please accept this box of chocolates from Liverpool Water Polo Club, made possible by Hawkins.”

Hawkins would like to congratulate the Lizards on winning the title once again, and wish them all the best for the upcoming season.
