Hawkins Goes International

Hawkins is excited to announce that it has opened its first International Office, located in Dubai. 

Dr Chris Wareham, the Middle East Director, will field instructions throughout the United Arab Emirates and surrounding territories.

Our Managing Director, Andrew Moncrieff, says… “This is an exciting time for Hawkins. We have helped many clients investigate claims in the Middle East in the past and this new venture allows us to service their needs better, both in the UAE and beyond. We are looking forward to cementing the relationships we have with existing clients and forging new ones in the future. Chris is a very experienced investigator who will be supported from the UK by a small, fixed team of experts who specialise in a diverse range of international losses.”

Chris was previously the Regional Manager of our Glasgow Office. He has extensive experience in the investigation of fires in structures, vehicles, plant/machinery and losses in the marine environment.

Meet the team supporting Chris:

Andy Bryce - a Director of Hawkins in the UK. He joined Hawkins from Rolls Royce and is constantly in demand for his expertise. He has particular interests in engineering losses, especially those involving turbines, and fires.

David Reid Rowland - the Regional Manager of our London Office. He is a Chartered Engineer and highly regarded for his investigations of fires and engineering failures.

David Rose - the Shipping Manager based in our Cambridge Office. He is an expert in the field of fire hazards associated with fuels and lubricants and has extensive experience of major losses onshore and in marine environments.

Nick Coogan - is based in our Cambridge office and joined Hawkins from the Forensic Science Service, where he specialised in the interpretation of criminal evidence. He has investigated a wide range of fire and explosion incidents and is a member of Hawkins Marine Team.
