Hawkins Santa Run

Seven colleagues swapped their business suits and overalls for Santa suits to raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). The team from our Cambridge office took part in the inaugural Cambridge Science Park Santa run, raising over £1000 for the local charity.

The 5km circuit saw over 200 people run, jog or walk around the Cambridge Science Park whilst wearing a red suit, complete with hat and beard. The event was part of a series of Santa runs EACH have organised in the region, raising a total of £18,500 so far.

Karen Newton, EACH Cambridgeshire fundraising manager said, “It’s been a real pleasure hosting these Santa runs, with all participants seeming to have a thoroughly enjoyable time. We’re delighted with the funds raised, which will go towards the work we do providing care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and support for their families.”

If you’d like to make a post-event donation to EACH, please visit the team’s fundraising page.
