Experience
Alex studied Business Administration at Cardiff Business School. After graduating he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2001, whilst working for KPMG, where he worked on a number of consultancy and business improvement projects.
Following this Alex has worked with private equity investors and high net worth individuals as Finance Director within both the Manufacturing and Service industries. Alex possesses strong technical, analytical and process skills including Six Sigma & Lean Process Development.
He joined Hawkins in 2009 as Finance & IT Director and is based in Cambridge.
Alex is currently leading a major IT project for Hawkins. The project to improve the IT infrastructure and security of the Hawkins network has been successful. The next phase is to upgrade the business systems to provide not only enhanced case and document management but to provide secure online collaboration to enable the efficient sharing of information with Clients.
