Celebrating 10 & 20 Years with Hawkins

Hawkins would like to congratulate Jo Fanthorpe, Darren Cook and Neville Tranter on their 10-year anniversaries with Hawkins, as well as Drs Andrew Prickett and Robert Edwards on 20 years with our company.

Jo Fanthorpe is an Accounts Assistant based in our Cambridge Office and has been an invaluable part of our finance department for 10 years, making sure everything goes smoothly. Jo has also organised some of the Cambridge Office fundraising events over the years, such as Christmas Jumper Day, which helps to support some of the local charities in the Cambridge area. She is pictured here in 2020, and in 2014 at one of Hawkins’ company meetings.

Darren Cook is a forensic investigator who has been based in our Glasgow office for 10 years. He has pioneered Hawkins’ use of drone-based photography on fire scenes in the Glasgow area. He is a chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, as well as an associate member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. He is seen here in 2019 gearing up for and enjoying a Go Ape course with fellow Hawkins investigators Richard Baker, Jon Watkins and Adrian Ratte.

Neville Tranter is forensic investigator specialising in materials failure, and has been based in our Birmingham Office for 10 years. He is a chartered Engineer and a Member of the Welding Institute. He is pictured here in 2011 at his first Hawkins Company meeting.

Dr Andrew Prickett is Hawkins’ HR and Technical Director and has worked for Hawkins for 20 years, starting off in our London Office, and now based in Reigate, which he set-up in 2006. He is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Scientist and Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and continues to carry out forensic investigations, mainly into escapes of water. He is pictured here doing a demonstration in Hawkins’ water lab in Reigate, and running a trail race in 2013.

Dr Robert Edwards is Hawkins’ Operations Director and a Forensic Investigator who specialises in issues of chemistry and contamination; he has carried out high profile investigations in many countries around the world. He is a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has been based in Hawkins’ Manchester office since he joined. He is pictured here taking part in an activity at Hawkins’ company meeting in 2018, leading by example, sporting his safety goggles.

Hawkins would like to thank Jo, Darren, Neville, Andrew and Robert for all their hard work with us over the years.
