´Forensic Training Day´ for local client

Hawkins’ Cambridge office was recently host to Hiscox Insurance when they held a ’Forensic Training Day’.

We were joined by a group of delegates from the Claims Department of Hiscox Insurance who spent the day learning about fire investigation in general together with incidents in white goods such as fridge freezers, washing machines and tumble dryers which lead to Recall Notices being issued.

As well as attending the lectures, the delegates were able to have ’hands-on’ experience of looking at fire damaged items and failed plumbing fittings in our laboratory.

Said Graeme Drysdale, our Business Development Manager, "Hawkins has held several training days for clients at our various offices. They have proved very popular as the delegates not only learn about what can lead to claims, but also how the evidence should be preserved before we arrive in order to progress the claim more easily."

We are more than happy to either host an event like this at one of our offices or, if it suits better, to go along to a client’s premises to help with any training needs they may have.
