Graham Cooper Joins Hawkins

Graham is a Chartered Engineer with a wealth of experience, having worked in the past for British Aerospace, in both their Civil and Military Divisions, British Airways and Dr J H Burgoyne & Partners.

Graham has investigated over 600 mechanical and material related failures including aviation, marine, road traffic accident, rail accident, personal injuries and industrial process plant incidents. He has previously worked in Singapore and undertaken investigations in the UK, Ireland, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Far East and Australia.

Some of his major cases include: Passenger derailment, Bedfordshire (1998); Oil exploration drill ship corrosion failures, Gulf of Mexico (2000); passenger helicopter crash, North Sea (2002); 600MW steam turbine failure, South Africa (2003) and a cargo crane collapse in Belgium in 2011.

He has extensive experience of acting as an Expert Witness and a Single Joint Expert in litigation cases, having given written and oral evidence in civil and criminal court cases, arbitrations and mediations.
