Hawkins Will See You at AIRMIC 2019

Hawkins is pleased to be attending and exhibiting at the AIRMIC (Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Industry and Commerce) annual conference this year. The theme for 2019 is New World. New Solutions. With new technologies ever on the rise, it is important to the engineering community to be aware of how both our society, and industry, are changing.

On Monday 3rd June and Tuesday 4th June, you can visit our stand to chat with:

Dr Andrew Moncrieff - Hawkins’ Managing Director, based in the Cambridge Office. Andrew is a fire and explosion investigator and also introduced Hawkins to forensic geology, including the deterioration of natural building materials, failures in quarries and mines, and the use of rocks and soil in the identification of fraud or serious crimes. Andrew is a Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers.

Dr Ian Tatner- A chartered mechanical engineer and Principal Associate based in Hawkins’ Leeds Office. Ian has worked on a broad spread of forensic investigations, including fires, large-scale explosions, and pedestrian fall incidents.

Erin LeMaster- A digital forensic specialist and Associate based in Hawkins’ Cambridge Office. Erin is trained in best practice procedures for proper collection and examination of digital evidence such as computers & laptops, mobile devices, digital video recorders, servers, cloud data, and other unique digital storage media.

On Wednesday 5th June, you can visit our stand to chat with:

Stephen Brough - A materials engineer and Associate based in Hawkins’ Leeds Office. Stephen specialises in investigations into: escapes of water and oil, engineering failures, and fires. Stephen also holds a City and Guilds in Plumbing.

Hawkins’ Business Development Manager, Graeme Drysdale, as well as Marketing Specialists Marta Dimitrova and Stephanie Feeley, will also be present each day of the conference to answer questions and give other delegates and exhibitors the chance to win an iPad. Please visit Stand #4 in Hall C to meet some of the Hawkins team.
