Hawkins Wishes A Happy Retirement to Dr John Anderson

Right: Dr Anderson makes a perfect Father Christmas for a festive online marketing competition

Dr John Anderson joined Hawkins in 1989 and was trained to carry out the forensic investigation of fires and explosions. Since then, John has carried out over 1000 investigations in a wide variety of areas. John has held a spot on the Hawkins Board of Directors for fourteen years, including roles as Operations Director, Marketing Director and Chairman of the Board.

John is pictured here at the top left in 2011 with other members of the Hawkins board at that time, Andy Bryce, Alex Chambers, Dr Andrew Moncrieff, Richard Fletcher and Andrew Muston. On the right, we see him with members of the Marketing Team, after nearly two years of communicating almost solely by video call

Apart from his years of experience within the company as a chemist and fire investigator, John is known for his enthusiasm, his love of heavy metal music, and the time he’s invested in getting to know everyone he’s worked with throughout the years. John has said that what he has loved most about working for Hawkins is the people, and that his thirty-two years with the company have been both a privilege and a blast.

We wish him all the best with his retirement, and we are sure to see him showing up in gig photographs from many rock concerts in future.
