Highlights
- Total carbon emissions reduced by 8% in 2024/2025 compared to the 2023/2024 baseline, despite significant growth in revenue and workforce.
- Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduced by 28.9%, driven by renewable electricity procurement, energy‑efficiency improvements and reduced gas consumption.
- Carbon intensity continues to fall, with emissions per employee down 22%, demonstrating that business growth is being decoupled from carbon impact.
Hawkins & Associates Limited has adopted an operational control approach to establishing the boundary. The methodology adopted in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the BEIS Environmental Reporting Guidelines. The calculations were completed on the SmartCarbon Calculator using the UK Government emissions factors. Using internationally recognised methods ensures the consistency, comparability, and credibility of Hawkins & Associates’ carbon reporting. Our carbon footprint reporting follows the TRACC principles—Transparency, Relevance, Accuracy, Consistency and Completeness—ensuring our data is clear, credible, and aligned with the accounting and reporting principles of the GHG Protocol.
