Caroline O'Keffee

Caroline began her career with a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Chemistry, and an MSc in Forensic Engineering and Science. She gained hands-on investigative experience during an internship in law enforcement, followed by roles as a Firearms and Vehicles Analyst and a forensic drug practitioner, specialising in the identification and profiling of illicit substances.   

Caroline later moved into research and development as a propellant chemist before completing a PhD in Composite Materials and working in the aerospace industry in material development and testing.   

More recently, Caroline worked in Germany as a Technical Engineer. She was responsible for developing and maintaining specialist equipment used in the analysis of ship fuels and lubricating oils. 

Caroline joined Hawkins in October 2025 and is an Associate based in our London Office
