Divyeruthra graduated with a first-class BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree and Vice Chancellor’s award from Universiti Teknologi Petronas. During her studies, Divye developed automated pipeline diagnostics using image processing and intelligent systems in deepwater environments.
Following graduation, Divye joined ExxonMobil as a Material and Mechanical Integrity Engineer and later, a Fixed Equipment and Inspection Engineer. In these roles, she conducted field inspections and risk assessments and, employed mitigation plans for loss prevention in refinery and petrochemical plants across the globe. She was also awarded Accreditation for In-Service Inspection of Pressure Systems which allows her to perform CAT 2 UKAS RG2 inspections.
Divye’s expertise lies in integrity management, material and process degradation, troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance in the oil and gas industry.
Divye will be working on petrochemical incidents (fires, mechanical failures, and contamination), and undertaking fire and explosion investigations in marine, industrial, commercial, and domestic premises.
