We are delighted to welcome Ben Gibbs to our London office as the newest member of our Acoustics & Vibration team.
Ben completed his BEng in Aerospace Engineering at the University of the West of England, where he developed a keen interest in psychoacoustics and the acoustic challenges of future aircraft design. His experience includes the early-stage design of low-noise rotor blades and the development of conceptual noise attenuation strategies aimed at reducing psychoacoustic annoyance in urban environments, particularly for emerging eVTOL operations.
At Hawkins, Ben works alongside Ros Lambert-Porter, Director of Acoustics, supporting clients with:
- Noise impact assessments
- Room acoustics evaluations
- Noise at work assessments
- Vibration measurements
- Design consultations
Ben’s collaborative approach and technical insight make him a valuable addition to our growing team of acoustic consultants. We look forward to the contributions he will bring to our investigations and consultancy services.
If you need an acoustic consultation or have a noise-related issue, please get in touch with Ben or our Acoustics team.
