Adam is a multidisciplinary engineer with a background spanning mechanical and electrical engineering across a range of technically demanding industries.

Since joining Hawkins in January 2025, Adam has been based in the Glasgow office as an Associate, where his work includes fire investigation, mechanical and electrical failures, and personal injury investigations.

Key areas of specialism:

Prior to joining Hawkins, Adam’s career began in explosives, ballistics, and failure analysis, before progressing through medical device testing and R&D, and subsequently into a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. Across these roles he developed expertise spanning the full engineering spectrum, from software development and product design through to feasibility analyses of pressurised and electrical generating systems.

Adam holds a First Class Honours degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, accredited for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and was awarded the George Carter Scholarship in Engineering.
