Hawkins are proud to be a part of the upcoming Steam Turbine and Generator User Group 2022, to be held live and in person on 16-17 March 2022 in Manchester.
Organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the user group will once again bring together this specialist engineering community to discuss key challenges, share new solutions, present case studies of recent projects and offer innovative strategies to enhance the operation, maintenance and efficiency of these assets.
Hawkins will be contributing to this year’s programme with an engineer’s guide to insurance on day one. We join more than 30 presentations across the two days from organisations including RWE, Uniper, GE, Ansaldo, Suez and more.
Electrical Engineer Ben Adams says, “I am going to STGUG 2022 because it is one of the best and only conferences which covers the world of steam turbines and generators, if not the best power industry get-togethers in Europe, which always has a good mix of operators, manufacturers, service providers and other interested parties attending—with a focus on technical content rather than sales pitches.”
This year the conference will be held at Manchester United Football Ground, Old Trafford and key speakers include:
